American Prime Insurance ("we", "us", "our") is a licensed insurance agency. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we protect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Information we collect
Quote requests. When you ask for a quote we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, street address, city, state and ZIP code, the type of coverage you are interested in, how you prefer to be contacted, and anything you write in the message field. Insurance carriers need these details to price a policy accurately.
Contact messages. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the subject you choose and your message.
Newsletter. When you subscribe we collect your email address and keep a record of when and from where you subscribed.
Technical information. For every form submission we record the IP address, browser type and time of the request. We use this only to protect the site against abuse, spam and fraud.
Information you give us later. When one of our licensed agents calls you back, notes from that conversation may be added to your request so we can follow up properly.
How we use your information

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we protect it
Your email address, phone number, street address, date of birth and messages are encrypted before they are stored in our database, and the website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only licensed staff who need your information to handle your request can see it, and every sign-in to our system is protected by a password policy and logged.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and contact messages are kept for as long as they are needed to serve you and for the period required by Illinois insurance record-keeping rules. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your choices below), subject to records we are legally required to retain.
Who we share it with
- Insurance carriers and underwriters, so they can quote and issue a policy for you.
- Service providers that host this website, deliver our email, protect our forms against spam, and, with your consent, measure our advertising (Google). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others.
Cookies

Necessary cookies cannot be switched off because the site would not work safely without them. Analytics, advertising and embedded-content cookies are only set after you allow them. Until then the Google tags run in a mode that stores no cookies and does not identify you. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work as intended.
Your choices

- Do not call. If you asked for a quote but no longer want to be contacted, tell us and we will stop.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and our quote form does not accept a date of birth under that age.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
